The couple of lines of code in the MSTest are all there is really and these could be dropped in any testing framework.

Once you get your head round calling the tests like this the pain point becomes setting up MSTest - not fitnesse. I am not sure what the project would be here

I have been looking for an easy way to integrate Fitnesse tests into my projects for a few years, but haven't had the time to really dig into it. So I haven't used Fitnesse at all...

If you would consider setting up this project at Codeplex, we can all chip in to make this product better.

Don't know if you noticed I swapped back to my old presenter mouse at the break. Old habits die hard and I found I was not looking at the screen on my phone anyway. I will see how it goes in the future. I do like the fact it has better range as it is bluetooth unlike my old controller.

As to the use of DataDude, I think you have some valid points, but I would suggest you judge it after looking at the GDR build (blogs.msdn.com/.../vsts-2008-database-edition-gdr-june-ctp.aspx), which has had many changes after feedback from users just like yourself.

Good presentation - I found it interesting. I get the impression that VSDE is still very much a 'work in progress' product and it will take a number of iterations before it becomes a truly useful tool. Storing SQL files in the source control has always been possible and I remember using database projects in VS2003 to do just that. The schema comparison and test data generation functionality is available in other tools for a fraction of the price of MSDE and the database 'unit testing' is umm... interesting. There is clearly some awkwardness when dealing with schema and project views.

It's a shame that the database projects are treated in isolation. For instance, LINQ-to-SQL .DBML files are created by dragging a database schema onto a designer. Would it be nice if I could link (no pun intended) that to my database project so that when I change my schema, my .DBML file is also updated. Maybe one day...

Anyway - good presentation. As a consultant who has introduced my current client to all things Team System, I'm interested in any other presentations you have and I'll be watching your blog from now on for any nuggets of information.
